Storm Reply extends its service portfolio to AWS Outposts. AWS Outposts are fully managed and configurable computation and storage racks built with AWS-designed hardware that run on-premises, while seamlessly connecting to AWS’ broad array of services in the cloud. As an AWS Outposts Partner, Storm Reply has been trained and vetted in delivering positive customer outcomes at scale through re-architecting complex workloads to run on AWS operations.
With this new capability, Storm Reply addresses AWS customers who have certain workloads that will need to remain on-premises for the foreseeable future, such as latency-sensitive applications requiring close proximity to assets on-site or regulatory requirements. AWS Outposts were designed to support these customers, to deliver the benefits of the AWS cloud services on premise, while providing the same toolset and applications as available in the Cloud, for a genuinely consistent hybrid experience. The Hardware used is in fact identical with the one used in AWS public region data centers.
As an official AWS Outposts Partner, Storm Reply supports AWS customers in managing and maintaining infrastructures both on-premises and in cloud environments to deliver positive outcomes at scale. The AWS Outposts allow customers to benefit from the advantages of AWS Services without the need of migrating data out of their datacenter while preserving low latency. This hybrid approach combining on-premise datacenter with the Cloud using AWS Outpost and AWS Cloud will be constituent for future scenarios, as it provides even more agility for operations and deployment, and improves cost governance and better caters to business needs.”
Storm Reply adds the AWS Outposts capability to their membership in the AWS Managed Services Provider Program and the AWS Migration, Data & Analytics, DevOps, IoT, Oracle and Industrial Software Competencies.
