UX and app development

BBC Bitesize is an educational website for children within the UK, with the single goal to aid revision, partnered with Open Reply to develop a mobile app.

BBC Bitesize required an app that would be fun and interactive for students.

We were entrusted to create a mobile app that was interactive in nature, encouraged continuous engagement, and considered a go-to-means to study on the go.





Developed natively for iOS and Andriod devices

Follwing an Agile approach, development was organised into sprints which allowed flexibility to meet our clients needs. Coupled with our UX designers, this allowed effective team management and communication between BBC design team and our technical consultants. The results showed 100,000+ downloads within a month of launch as well as high ratings on the app stores.
