• Knowledge of underlay and overlay networking architectures for data centres and related protocols (IP, VLAN, VxLAN, BGP, VPLS, L2VPN, PBB-EVPN, PBB-VPLS, E-VPN, MPLS, SDN/VNF/CNF)

• Proven experience in the use of Agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM) in IT projects

For our office in Milan we are looking for Technical Project Manager!

ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and communicate project objectives within the team

• Define the macro plan of the initiative and track the progress

• Assign and supervise the day-to-day activities of the technical staff making sure that everyone actively works to reach the targets on time

• Verify the project objectives achievement in terms of time, priority and product/service quality

• Interact with project stakeholders such as: business users, suppliers, customers and end users

• Check and supervise the project documentation, produced in accordance with customer policies

• Verify the proposed technical solution by evaluating its adherence to the requirements, company guidelines, technological evolution and complies with corporate security policies

• Identify and report any issues and define appropriate risk mitigation strategies

• Chairing and preparing project progress (SAL) with stakeholders (drafting progress reports)â¯

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Robotic Engineering or Management Engineering

The following technical skills are also required:

• Experience in in Supplier Management

• Experience with managing Network & Infrastructure IT & Network Security projects

• Managerial experience, analytical skills and problem solving

• Ability to clearly define goals, roles and responsibilities for all team members

Certifications in Project Management:

• PMP Certification

• ITIL Certification

• Scrum Master Certification

Nice to have:

• Technical certifications in networking, security and data science
