Following the success of its mobile version, Joe Dever’s Lone Wolf – which won two Golden Dragon awards, was a finalist at the Develop Awards and was included in IndieCade’s Digital Selection – is now available for PC and Mac, with even more refined graphics.
Lone Wolf is a series of 28 adventure gamebooks, originally published from 1984 onwards by their author, Joe Dever. With over 10 million books sold worldwide, Lone Wolf is a benchmark for those keen on fantasy.
The HD Remastered edition of Joe Dever’s Lone Wolf is available on Steam and includes all four Acts of the series. By exploiting the potential of modern-day graphics cards, the game has an even more striking visual impact than in its previous form. The control system has also been redesigned and adapted for mouse and keyboard, while still retaining the feel of the much-loved mobile version.
In addition, a lavishly designed extra section is available, including artwork and 3D models of characters, as well as settings that can be unlocked as the adventure continues. The soundtrack and a digital art book complete a package that’s not to be missed by fans of role-playing games.
