Sergio Rossi has been appointed Executive Partner of Reply, a leader in the design and implementation of solutions based on new communication channels and digital media. The arrival of Sergio Rossi fits in with Reply’s Cloud Computing growth strategy. Sergio Rossi will have the special task of developing the Cloud application offer and forming alliances with the primary world players within this field. Cloud Computing is today one of the most important drivers of enterprise change, and not just in terms of technology. According to leading analysts, global revenue from Cloud services are forecast to grow by 25% annually, to reach 15.4 billion euros in 2014. In Italy, the market for Cloud services is set to grow from the current 300 million euros to over 700 million euros in 2014, a growth rate of more than 30% per year. The Reply Cloud Computing offer is based on enterprise services aimed at the definition of Cloud models most suited to the needs of individual firms, whether on the Private Cloud or the Public Cloud. In the SaaS field, Reply specialises in the CRM, HR, Warehouse Management (SideUp Reply) and Social Networking platforms. Reply is also a forerunner in the use of the Public Cloud platform, on which 4cust Reply and the Storm Reply platforms are based. It also pioneered the use of the Exalab laboratory, launched jointly with Oracle in 2011. “The offer of Cloud Computing services and solutions”, announced Sergio Rossi, “is currently in a state of turmoil. Following last week’s announcement during Oracle Open World, the main vendors, not least of all Oracle, joined the fray with specific offers and proposals. Reply, already with significant experience in managing Cloud Computing architecture projects in large organizations and having been one of the first to invest in this new direction, intends to reassert its Italian leadership in this field and play an important role on the European scene”. Before joining Reply, Sergio Rossi had been Managing Director of Oracle’s Italian headquarters for the past five years, having joined the company in 1997 and taken on positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to that, Rossi was Director of Sales at AT&T Communications and at Digital, where he began his career.
