The primary finance holding for car purchase in Italy belongs to the Fidis Retail Group and is present also in Europe -France, Germany, Holland, England, Spain, Greece, Polland, Denmark, Austria and Switzerland-. With very many years of experience in the field of engineered financing and a vast knowledge of what the drivers mostly need (thanks to a constant monitoring of their satisfaction degree), SAVA wanted a further reinforcement of its competitive position as leader in the sector of financing automobiles purchases. In order to gain a good competitive level, the optimization of the service and a greater pro-activity in the field of collection and potential credit recover revealed to be essential. Aiming to achieve a worthy upgrade of the corporate informative systems, according to the evolutions due to the business needs, SAVA addressed to Reply its demand for the reengineering of its existing architecture through the implementation of a Service Oriented Architecture.
Deputing the architecture as manager of every technical peculiarity, Reply designed a system which, by means of the Service Oriented Architecture, allows to access services and data on the legacy systems. This permits to focus exclusively on the implementation of the specific business, inheriting all the advantages deriving from the re-use of the applicative logics and the simplicity of a multichannel delivery. A range of new applicative services, among whom the traditional contract acquisition module, have been simply re-used to activate new channels of business. Other modules, mainly in the fields of post-sale and customer retention, have been newly developed, in web-based modality for the B2C channel and to be used by the whole corporate front-end in a multichannel logic. At the first stage, the solution paid attention to the start-up of the new service Personal Loan. Reply designed the data flow and the integration with the Fidis Retail Group’s servers, in line with the IT governance norms and according to the privacy and security policies on personal data management the Fiat Group complies with. The development of the new service enabled the integration with new partners for the sale of the product "Personal Loan " and permitted also to connect with their distribution channels. The SOA approach further enhance the company’s value because services are thought in a logic of process, by analyzing and conceiving interconnection, interactivity and relationships among the several components, concentrating on the re-use and on a trouble-free maintenance of the system.
