Connected Factory, Artificial Intelligence, Predictive Maintenance, Logistics 4.0 – these are just a few of the buzzwords at Hannover Messe, the world's largest industrial trade fair, which opens its doors in 2019 from 1 to 5 April. This year, 6,500 exhibitors will meet more than 220,000 visitors to exchange ideas on the future topics of industry under the motto "Integrated Industry - Industrial Intelligence". With this theme, the networking of man and machine in the AI age will become the focus of the trade fair.

DIGITAL FACTORY

The Digital Factory, the part of Hannover Messe for integrated processes and IT solutions with around 660 exhibitors, is one of the areas at the trade fair that has seen the strongest growth in recent years. Here, everything revolves around IT and software solutions that enable data connections between development, production and suppliers: software for virtual product development, for production planning and control, as well as for predictive analyses are just as much the focus here as concepts with which the masses of data can be securely distributed in the digital factory.

At this place of digital pioneers you will also meet the experts from Cluster Reply, Cluster Manufacturing Reply, Industrie Reply and Spike Reply. Come to booth E31 in hall 7 and learn more about the Reply showcases on Smart Factory, Connected Supplier and Connected Product. You are welcome to make an appointment already today

Cyber Security for OT and IT

Industrial controls and process control systems (SCADA/ICS) control and regulate many areas of our lives, such as our water and power supply, but also many other systems. In the past, these control systems were usually isolated in order to avoid failures and to ensure accurate monitoring and control. With increasing connectivity through IoT and Industry 4.0, however, these systems become more susceptible to manipulation and attacks.
Industrial Cybersecurity for Operational Technology (OT) is one of the main topics at this year's Hannover Messe. Spike Reply presents its IT security portfolio for the detection of OT/ICS risks and vulnerabilities as well as cyber security for OT and IT. With the model SCADA / Industry 4.0 we can show a concrete application that makes sensor and actuator values from industrial plants and critical infrastructures (e.g. PLCs) accessible and evaluable in a cloud environment.

Remote Assistance

With the Hololens App of Microsoft (Dynamics 365 Remote Assist), technicians can resolve problems faster by collaborating across multiple locations. They can fix problems in real time and share their view with remote employees and keep working while getting the help they need. It is possible to visit a location without being there for efficient and cost effective error reporting in realtime. It is possible to take over work order information from Dynamics 365 for Field Service and diagrams from applications already used.
In another showcase we demonstrate and simulate a Microsoft Connected Factory scenario with the Azure IoT Solution Accelerators. With the help of such a solution, it is possible to connect existing industrial plants to the cloud and thus make them IoT-capable.

Connecting factories and vehicles

The digital platform for manufacturing of Cluster Manufacturing Reply enables the transformation of products into connected products and factories into connected factories. In order to be competitive in the manufacturing industry, it is necessary to link processes, procedures and products with IoT, Big Data and AI technologies.
