Avantage Reply provided support to the Risk department of a custodian bank that operates at an international level. The goal was to help with the completion of the department’s daily tasks and any upcoming projects.
The client underwent a restructuring, leading to an increased workload for the Risk department. To handle all tasks and projects in a satisfying manner, the department needed additional support. During the transition, Avantage Reply helped manage the increased workload and keep the work quality to a high standard. Daily tasks like the monitoring of key metrics, counterparty credit ratings, and internal changes as well as the support in the production and implementation of regulatory reports were responsibilities of the consultant supporting the Risk department. As a result, all the operations of the bank and in particular the Risk department continued without any disruption.
The client institution underwent a restructuring and faced an increased workload. The goal was to perform all tasks until a new risk officer could be hired, which would eventually alleviate the stress on the department. Central to this issue was that the delivered work should not suffer in terms of quality and detail despite the increased strain and number of projects.
The Risk department of the client faced challenges arising from an increased workload and a lack of resources. At the time of the restructuring, the risk department was not staffed appropriately to handle all upcoming projects, in addition to the daily tasks while maintaining quality. Therefore, the financial institution needed to bridge the gap until new staff could be hired.
