JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for ambitious, results-driven Senior Consultants/Managers to join our growing team in the UK with the following core requirements:
- Prudential Regulation: Helping our clients interpret and address relevant prudential regulatory requirements (UK, Continental Europe, US etc.). Providing end to end trusted advisor support to our clients, including in areas such as ICAAPs, ILAAPs, Recovery Plans. Assistance with production and enhancement of the regulatory reporting packages (e.g. COREP, FINREP and others);
- Risk Quantification: Advising and supporting clients in relation to risk methodologies, quantifications and modelling;
- Regulatory Relationships: Advising our clients in relation to regulatory processes and submissions, including applying for authorisations, waivers and permissions;
- Change Management: Experience of programme management, change management and risk transformations, bringing together technical skills and people skills to deliver for our large clients;
- Strategic Initiatives: Engaging with clients on business model analysis and financial planning, including performance assessment, profitability analysis and capital allocation decisions;
- Implementations: Working with our alliance partners across the industry to implement leading risk solutions.
As well as being involved in client projects, you will be expected to:
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with new and existing clients;
- Assist on client proposals and development of client offerings;
- Develop as a thought leader through working on eminence, speaking opportunities and publications;
- Support junior consultants and work closely with your colleagues in different areas of advisory and professional services to deliver tailored, end-to-end solutions for your clients.

The ability to drive work forward to a conclusion, to find tailored solutions to complex problems, and to communicate them effectively, are key factors in order to be successful in this role.
PROFILE
Required:
- Master’s Degree from a leading institution;
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant delivery experience in a consulting environment or equivalent experience in a banking environment;
- Strong background in prudential risk management and experience with different risk types, such as credit risk, climate change risk, operational risk, liquidity risk and others;
- Good knowledge of the relevant regulatory frameworks (incl. CRR/CRD, Basel, PRA and FCA regulations, EBA frameworks, etc.);
- Ability to lead projects and manage teams of consultants;
- Results oriented, ability to set clear goals and objectives, focusing on the achievement of targets, quality and deadlines;
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop tailored solutions;
- Eagerness to develop new skills and to further expand the knowledge within different areas of risk management, as well as to share knowledge ;
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and ability to confidently present/engage with clients;
- Willingness to support and ultimately own client relationships.
Other requirements
Experience of working for the UK financial regulators, i.e. PRA, FCA;
Interest in emerging risk topics – ESG, operational resilience;
Quantitative skills and proficiency with programming languages (e.g. VBA, Python, R, SAS, etc.) are desirable.
