Microsoft has announced a wave of new Copilot features, and we've rounded up our favourites that we can't wait for from Microsoft's blog.
1. Copilot Pages: Quickly pull a Copilot response from Business Chat into your page, edit it, add it, and when you're ready, share it with your team just like you would a Word document. Collaborate with your team with Copilot in Pages, see everyone's work in real time and prompt Copilot to improve and expand responds, build visualizations, and bring in content from your data and files.
2. Copilot in Excel: Copilot in Excel is now generally available with Advanced analysis, combining the power of Python with Copilot in Excel. Anyone can work with Copilot to do advanced analysis like forecasting, risk analysis, machine learning, and visualizing complex data—all using natural language, no coding required.
3. Copilot in PowerPoint: With Narrative Builder in PowerPoint, you can build a great first draft in minutes. With brand manager, your presentations are enterprise-ready—Copilot uses your company's branded template to build the deck, and you can work with it to pull in images from your SharePoint Organization Asset Library
4. Copilot in Outlook: New features include prioritize My Inbox, which helps you quickly find the messages that are most important. By analysing your inbox, Copilot automatically generates a concise summary of each email and includes why it prioritized the message along with top insights.
5. Copilot in Teams: Copilot in Teams meetings now cross-reference conversations happening in the chat and when people are speaking in meeting recaps. You can ask questions that you missed in a meeting, and it will quickly scan across what was said, and what was typed in the chat, to see if anything was left unanswered.
6. Copilot in OneDrive: Copilot in OneDrive can reason over all your files to find the information you need, it can even compare up to five documents and in seconds provide a clear, easy-to-read summary of the details and differences in your files.
7. Copilot in Word: Quickly reference Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, PDFs, and encrypted documents as well as emails and meetings. You can pull all this information into the flow of work to improve drafts. You can also get creative writing prompts to get you started.
8. Copilot Agents: Copilot agents run the spectrum from simple, prompt-and-response agents that anyone can build, to more advanced, fully autonomous agents. These agents work for you in the background, fully managed and orchestrated by Copilot.
