Infinity Reply honored with Epic MegaGrants Award

Infinity Reply, the Reply Group company specialised in innovative 3D visualisation solutions, has been awarded the Epic MegaGrants Award. With this award, Epic Games honors creative and innovative projects implemented with Epic's Unreal Engine or projects that further develop the open source ecosystem for 3D graphics. The Epic MegaGrants Award recognizes Infinity Reply's special technical expertise and innovative approach, which was used in a PoC project for automotive customer Opel.

The multiplex content platform enables the semi-automated production of digital visual content of the highest quality for various use cases such as cloud-based rendering platforms, web configurators, VR solutions, streaming solutions or classic CGI productions. These use cases are based on a central and shared 3D master model, which is prepared and maintained in the Unreal Engine.

This concept enables the synergetic use of assets and work steps across all use cases in product visualization. This saves time, process steps and therefore also costs. For the first time, this approach was used for Opel in the context of a proof of concept. For a defined vehicle, a VR application, a streaming solution, the production of the Web Car Configurator content and the production of classic CGI print motifs for brochures were implemented.
