Click Reply™ integrates the JVoice module, an innovative solution for managing "hands-free" and "eyes-free" systems, based on the Voice Interface Object (VIO) technology by Vocollet™, world leader in voice recognition systems for industrial and warehousing applications.
Click Reply™ JVoice is a leading-edge technology suitable for all industrial situations, it supports more than twenty different languages regardless of the dialect, inflexion or pronunciation that the user adopts. This is possible because it is a “Speaker-Dependent” system in that it is the terminal, after a brief training session, that is responsible to interpret the work of the user. A “Speaker-Dependent” system is notoriously acknowledged as being at least twice as accurate as “Speaker-Independent” systems.
Talkman® terminal kits (consisting of earphones, microphone and RF terminal belt) use the latest voice recognition and synthesis technology allowing operators to communicate in real-time using the Click Reply™ WM module.
Voice technology can help in all logistic processes where speed and accuracy of operation and the immediate availability of information create real savings, through greater productivity and an increase in performance and results.
The logistic processes that are significantly improved by voice technology are:
The value of speech recognition, which has been available for several years, is becoming more widely recognised.
The main reason for its success is that voice systems are of revolutionary importance to logistics processes: they provide a new way of communicating between operators and the information system.
Operators’ work becomes simpler and more natural, allowing them to have both hands free and concentrate on the task being undertaken, thus increasing safety and accuracy, without having to interact with a keyboard and a monitor.
Thanks to the ergonomics of available hardware, these solutions are bringing enormous improvements to warehousing activities.
Advantages of voice technology:
Click Reply JVoice, a module dedicated to vocal support, allows the user to manage the voice process efficiently by adapting to the requirements of each specific warehouse via its two components, JVoice Server and JVoice Configurator, and interacting with Vocollect Voice Console, used for terminal management and staff training.
JVoice Server manages requests from the Vocollect Voice Client application in the Talkman terminals, and “issues commands” to the application to enable it to operate and reduce interactions with the database to a minimum. In this way, the terminal can operate in batch mode or when not connected to the network, communicating with JVoice Server only when the operations have been completed, in the event of errors or in exceptional cases. Therefore the terminal can operate in areas not covered by the network, such as cold rooms or wide open spaces.
With JVoice Configurator it is simple to configure and customise the vocal process, thus adapting it to the specific requirements of each client’s processes, and to the features of each single warehouse.
