The Challenge
The Reply Code Challenge is a team-based programming competition. The “Reply Code Master Team”, a group of Reply developers, came up with this idea because of the Reply’s ongoing efforts to promote coding to young people, businesses and geeks.
On 15th March 2018 at 4.30pm Reply launched the challenge on challenges.reply.com.
A problem statement was released and the teams, made of two, three or four people, had to solve it. Each team could send more than one solution and use their favourite programming language. During the competition a leaderboard showed real-time scores gained by coders while submitting their solutions, so enabling both participants and Code Masters to assess how teams were performing and measure their efforts. The board froze 30 minutes before the challenge deadline.
Each member of the first classified team awarded with a Razer Blade gaming laptop.
